Description

  • Lead subject-matter experts supporting Certification program offerings while tracking industry trends, regulatory developments, and market changes.
  • Adjust operational strategies and direct team responses to regulatory changes.
  • Communicate regulatory trends through insights, key takeaways, forecasts, and potential business impacts.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives that strengthen certification standards, improve compliance operations, and scale processes.
  • Maintain and enhance compliance frameworks, including the annual Certification Standards Refresh.
  • Participate in customer calls to support client-facing compliance activities.
  • Assist Sales with documentation, scoping decisions, and client inquiries.
  • Coach policy team members through feedback, development planning, and growth support.
  • Assess team capacity and recommend organizational or resource changes.
  • Collaborate with the Certification Innovation Leader to apply AI and automation to policy and compliance workflows.
  • Work with Legal on denials, escalations, suspensions, litigation concerns, and related issues.
  • Support jurisdictional and scope expansion through regulatory research, feasibility assessments, documentation, and team training.
  • Oversee daily Policy and Compliance operations, including hiring, coaching, KPIs, and performance expectations.
  • Model and uphold LegitScript’s core values.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of policy management, industry regulations, and compliance standards across relevant sectors.
  • Substantial experience managing risk and compliance programs, including policy creation, implementation, and operational monitoring.
  • Broad subject-matter expertise informed by industry trends, business priorities, and regulatory obligations.
  • Experience hiring, coaching, and managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfort working in changing markets with a continuous-improvement approach.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with macOS, Google Workspace applications such as Sheets and Docs, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong professional writing skills and experience creating or reviewing compliance documentation.
  • Fluent spoken and written English comprehension and communication.
  • A four-year college degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
  • Two to four years of experience managing people and/or policy and compliance programs.
