Description
- Register new patients accurately for the Behavioral Health Department
- Provide business support to patients and the healthcare system
- Maintain accurate patient registration records

- Collect patient charges and payments
- Operate a multi-line telephone system in accordance with telephone protocols
- Assist patients with their needs
Requirements
- 1–2 years of medical experience
- 1–2 years of customer service experience
- 1–2 years of insurance experience
- High school diploma
- Intermediate knowledge of insurance
- Knowledge of medical records
- Experience operating a multi-line telephone system
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to align patient care needs with available services
- Good judgment when triaging patients with acute needs by phone
