General Manager, Collision Repair – Pompano Beach
Lead daily collision repair operations at Crash Champions’ Pompano Beach center, overseeing production, staffing, repair quality, estimates, and performance goals. Support and develop the team while managing work from vehicle intake through delivery.
Description
- Achieve location revenue targets and key performance goals.
- Oversee shop operations from vehicle intake through customer delivery.
- Assign repairs to Body Technicians and prioritize vehicles for teardown or paint.
- Help during busy periods by welcoming customers, checking in vehicles, and preparing estimates as needed.
- Ensure repairs meet Crash Champions and I-CAR quality standards.
- Verify accurate repair billing and compliance with back-shop personal protective equipment protocols.
- Manage shop payroll and staffing, including timekeeping, flag-hour procedures, and employee leave.
- Coordinate daily production and communicate with Body Technicians, the Collision Estimator, and Parts Managers.
- Prepare DRP supplement estimates after full disassembly and damage discovery, revise estimates, and finalize them.
- Interview, hire, coach, and develop team members.
Requirements
- Know the collision repair industry, including insurance procedures and requirements across multiple carriers.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and problem-solving ability.
- Lead effectively and collaborate with others toward shared goals.
- Meet deadlines and deliver successful results.
- Use estimating software proficiently, including CCC ONE Total Repair Software.
- Work confidently with computers and other technology.
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
