Humanitarian Impact Evaluation Manager

Lead monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning systems for global humanitarian programs at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Measure program outcomes, improve processes, and present findings to operational leaders and governing councils.

Description

  • Oversee processes and tools that verify Church-funded efforts are properly used, reach intended recipients, and achieve their objectives.
  • Build and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks and data-collection systems for humanitarian products, services, and operations.
  • Develop relationships with partners and vendors to assess whether goods, products, and services reach the appropriate people at the appropriate time worldwide.
  • Examine performance data and analytics to confirm milestones and deliverables are achieved.
  • Analyze and synthesize findings, lessons learned, and strategic implications for stakeholders, operations teams, and external implementing organizations.
  • Guide the creation and rollout of improved process tools that assess Church-funded initiatives and apply evaluation findings to continuous improvement.
  • Prepare performance reports for headquarters and area governing councils.
  • Adapt systems and processes to strengthen the Humanitarian Division and improve operational effectiveness.
  • Supervise employees and volunteers while coordinating with Human Resources on hiring, termination, advancement, promotion, and status changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, statistics, international development, economics, or a comparable field.
  • Academic coursework and professional experience in research and evaluation.
  • At least seven years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead important, highly visible work with positive and effective results.
  • Strong capability to understand and align work with strategic objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret complex business processes and structures and recommend improvements.
  • Established analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.
  • A master’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
