Description
- Report to the Global Credit and Collections Manager
- Review and interpret company financial statements
- Oversee a portfolio of customer accounts by monitoring and recovering outstanding invoices
- Communicate with customers by email and phone
- Keep collection records clear, accurate, and consistent
- Spot collection concerns, manage open disputes, and escalate matters when necessary
- Regularly review sales orders placed on hold
- Maintain records in line with internal controls and SOX and audit standards
- Help the organization complete month-end closing activities on schedule
- Join scheduled collection update calls
Requirements
- 0–1 year of relevant experience
- Secondary studies or a bachelor's degree in economics or finance is advantageous
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills
- Conversational French and Spanish, both spoken and written
- Ability to develop effective customer relationships
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities with careful attention to detail
- Supportive approach and strong interpersonal skills
