Description
- Accurately maintain and update data across HR systems
- Assist the HR Business Partner with contracts for new starters, internal transfers, promotions, and contract changes
- Monitor office compliance and follow up on outstanding documentation from new employees
- Create and maintain employee files while helping reduce unnecessary paperwork
- Coordinate with payroll to meet required deadlines
- Process leavers and update relevant records and departments
- Collect and provide information for monthly and ad hoc HR reports
- Assist the HR team with absence management procedures
- Develop working knowledge of employment law and company policies to help answer employee questions
- Provide timely support to internal and external customers, escalating when appropriate
- Provide reception cover during lunch breaks, absences, holidays, and peak periods
- Handle business calls professionally and route them to the appropriate contacts
- Help arrange rooms, meeting and interview setups, and catering
Requirements
- A levels or an equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated customer service ability in a professional work environment
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and willing to learn
- Strong communication skills at all levels with a flexible approach to work
- Careful attention to detail and an appreciation for quality
