Description
- Translate and proofread documents for a range of clients
- Prepare and finalize translated materials for client delivery
- Translate content from English into Vietnamese
- Handle translation work for international marketing, corporate communications, and retail clients
- Work closely with the manager and Project Managers
- Complete Translation, MTPE, and/or Proofreading/QM assessments to demonstrate relevant skills
Requirements
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in Vietnamese
- Specialization in marketing, corporate communications, and retail translation
- Exceptional attention to detail, spelling, and grammar
- Professional approach in all circumstances, including work under tight deadlines
- Willingness to sign a confidentiality agreement
- Willingness to complete free Translation, MTPE, and/or Proofreading/QM assessments
- Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies, or an equivalent degree with substantial translation training from a recognized higher education institution; OR
- Two years of translation experience combined with a college degree; OR
- Five years of translation experience without a college degree; OR
- Certificate of translation competence issued by an appropriate government body
- Current CV showing relevant Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading/QM experience, along with proposed per-word rates in USD
