Event Operations Coordinator

Coordinate registrations, event platforms, logistics and data for iA Financial Group’s corporate events. Support vendors, partners and English-speaking participants across Canada.

Description

  • Coordinate administrative, operational and logistical work for corporate events
  • Serve as the main contact for event platforms, registrations and event operations
  • Manage invitations, confirmations and communications with participants
  • Administer and improve event management technology platforms
  • Maintain the integrity, quality and accuracy of event data
  • Prepare participation reports, satisfaction results and performance indicators
  • Follow up with internal partners, vendors and collaborators
  • Manage corporate suites and subscriptions, maintaining related tracking tools
  • Help plan and coordinate logistics for selected events
  • Identify vendors and coordinate venues, promotional items and operational needs
  • Spot operational risks and resolve issues
  • Recommend improvements to processes, tools and the participant experience

Requirements

  • Relevant diploma or equivalent experience providing the skills needed for the role
  • Experience in coordination, administration, operational support or customer service
  • Advanced Excel proficiency
  • Comfort using a range of technology tools and systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organization, with a commitment to quality, accuracy and information integrity
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting
  • Proactive, service-focused problem solving and interest in continuous process improvement
  • Sound judgment and analytical thinking
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong interest in using artificial intelligence tools to improve efficiency and deliverable quality
  • Intermediate English proficiency
  • Ability to occasionally attend events and provide operational support to English-speaking participants, vendors and business partners across Canada
