Estimating and Contract Manager United States Remote

Manage technology services estimates, statements of work, and contract reviews for construction-industry clients. Coordinate scope, risk assessment, approvals, and delivery requirements across cross-functional teams.

Description

  • Coordinate each statement of work from the initial request through final client delivery
  • Gather service requirements and scope details with sales representatives and clients
  • Facilitate statement-of-work and contract reviews with clients, Sales, and internal stakeholders
  • Work with Engineering, Security, Development, Consulting, Project Management, Operations, and Sales to convert technical requirements into deliverables, scope, and labor-hour estimates
  • Evaluate project requirements against industry standards to produce realistic estimates
  • Prepare statements of work using approved tools, templates, and contractual clauses
  • Identify technical and operational risks involving data security, system downtime liabilities, and data validation
  • Manage client-requested MSA and SOW revisions through redline review, escalation, and approved-response communication
  • Obtain necessary internal approvals before contracts are executed
  • Review completed projects to assess estimating performance
  • Maintain executed statements of work and MSAs for current and historical contracts
  • Update standard statement-of-work templates and the clause library
  • Help establish a structured estimating process that improves scoping consistency, speed, and efficiency
  • Clarify SOW scope, deliverables, assumptions, and contractual obligations for delivery teams during execution
  • Develop cross-functional relationships that support timely scoping, review, and contract execution

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
  • At least three years of commercial contract-management experience in technology services, technical solutions, or a comparable environment
  • Working knowledge of technical architecture terminology and concepts spanning IT, engineering, security, development, and software implementation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information to technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Strong time-management, organization, and prioritization abilities
  • Ability to handle multiple urgent requests and competing deadlines
  • Adaptable, flexible, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced cross-functional setting
  • Self-directed problem solver with sound judgment
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Ability to remain seated and use a computer and keyboard for extended periods
  • Frequent typing and mouse use requiring fine motor control for accurate data entry and navigation
  • Ability to maintain proper posture and adjust seating and workstation arrangements to reduce physical strain
  • Authorization to work from approved states within the United States
