Description

  • Lead strategy, engineering, and operational excellence across Cisco’s enterprise multi-cloud ecosystem
  • Establish and uphold cloud governance and compliance standards
  • Advance developer enablement through a product-led model
  • Oversee enterprise FinOps and cloud economics
  • Guide cloud operations toward autonomous, AI-enabled infrastructure
  • Ensure resilience across 24/7 operations
  • Build a culture centered on continuous learning
  • Grow a diverse, high-performing engineering organization
  • Shape how thousands of Cisco engineers build and run cloud workloads

Requirements

  • At least 12 years of progressive experience in cloud engineering
  • At least 5 years leading managers and technical leads in large enterprise environments
  • At least 10 years working with multi-cloud architecture and operations across AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid environments
  • At least 5 years building FinOps frameworks, governance models, and cost-management capabilities using Cloudability or native cloud tools
  • At least 5 years applying modern SRE practices, observability platforms such as Splunk, Datadog, and Prometheus/Grafana, Terraform-based infrastructure as code, and CI/CD automation
  • Professional AWS or GCP certification
  • FinOps Certified Practitioner (FOCP) credential
  • Experience applying agentic workflows, AIOps, and AI-based automation in enterprise IT
  • A record of leading major organizational transformations and complex platform migrations
  • Outstanding communication skills for converting complex technical needs into executive business strategy
  • Candidates based in San Jose or Milpitas, California, or Raleigh-Durham (RTP), North Carolina, are strongly preferred for onsite collaboration two to three days per week
