Director of Global Communications

Lead global corporate communications at Strider Technologies, an AI and open-source intelligence company. Shape executive messaging, media relations, thought leadership, crisis planning, and communications programs across international markets.

Description

  • Set and deliver Strider’s global corporate communications strategy
  • Shape the company narrative, messaging architecture, and core messages
  • Direct communications for announcements, partnerships, milestones, organizational changes, and market expansion
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Sales, Intelligence, Product, People Operations, and other teams to maintain a unified company story
  • Identify reputational risks and lead sensitive-issue and crisis communications planning
  • Build communications processes, measurement methods, and operating cadences
  • Counsel the CEO and senior leadership team on communications matters
  • Produce executive messaging, presentations, speeches, bylined content, social copy, and media preparation materials
  • Develop thought leadership initiatives focused on strategic intelligence, technology, security, and geopolitical risk
  • Collaborate with the Intelligence team to turn research into reports and thought leadership content
  • Own editorial strategy and content direction for the Strider blog
  • Support company events through agenda planning, executive messaging, and speaker preparation
  • Set media strategy and manage journalist relationships alongside the external PR agency
  • Represent the company publicly and oversee media inquiries, press releases, statements, and briefing materials
  • Create the analyst relations strategy and manage its execution
  • Lead, mentor, and grow the communications team
  • Develop global communications frameworks, guidance, and tools for regional teams
  • Manage the external PR agency and other communications partners
  • Tailor communications for audiences in the United States, United Kingdom, and EMEA while supporting expansion in Japan and Australia
  • Work with People Operations on internal communications and organizational change

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, executive communications, or a related discipline
  • Track record of leading communications programs for a growing organization
  • Ability to create corporate narratives and make complex business, technology, security, intelligence, or industry topics compelling
  • Outstanding writing and editorial ability across executive communications, media materials, presentations, thought leadership, and long-form content
  • Proven media relations experience, including proactive outreach, spokesperson preparation, and communications for sensitive or high-profile matters
  • Experience advising executives and senior leaders on communications strategy, messaging, thought leadership, and external positioning
  • Background developing communications processes, frameworks, and measurement programs
  • Ability to connect communications plans with business and commercial goals
  • Experience leading and developing communications teams and overseeing agencies or external partners
  • Experience in national security, geopolitical risk, strategic intelligence, cybersecurity, defense, technology, or another complex or highly regulated sector preferred
  • Experience directing communications across multiple international markets preferred
  • Experience establishing or expanding a corporate communications function preferred
  • Experience creating or managing analyst relations programs preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience preferred
