Data Engineer, LLM and Generative AI Applications — Singapore (Hybrid)
Build AWS and Databricks data pipelines for Assurity Trusted Solutions, a GovTech subsidiary. Support BI analytics and production GenAI integrations across data and AI workflows.
Description
- Build and operate reliable ETL and ELT pipelines with Databricks, PySpark, and SQL on AWS data platforms.
- Create and tune data models and tables for Tableau dashboards and internal reporting.
- Partner with data scientists and AI engineers to put GenAI models into production, coordinating data dependencies, prompt stores, and inference pipelines.
- Apply monitoring, version control, and data-quality standards to ETL workflows and schemas.
- Turn business data needs into scalable engineering solutions through close collaboration with stakeholders.
- Maintain data security and compliance with organizational and regional requirements.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in data engineering or a comparable technical position.
- Practical expertise with Databricks, Spark using PySpark or SQL, and AWS services including S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, and Athena.
- Strong knowledge of data warehouse architecture, data modeling, and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Tableau or comparable business intelligence and reporting platforms.
- Working knowledge of ML, GenAI, or LLM applications, including API-based model deployment, embedding-store integration, or text and chat pipelines.
- Proficiency in Python and a strong grasp of Git-based version control.
- Understanding of API design, data orchestration with Airflow or dbt, and CI/CD practices.
- Strong analytical, communication, and technical documentation abilities.
