Brand Manager, Licensing at Creative Artists Agency

Creative Artists Agency is hiring a full-time Brand Manager to lead licensing, product development, and commercial growth for entertainment and sports brands. The role manages licensee partnerships and cross-functional programs from a hybrid location in New York or Miami.

Description

  • Act as the main relationship lead for licensees and brand owners
  • Source and advance strategic food and beverage licensing opportunities
  • Shape and deliver licensing plans around client goals, brand identity, guidelines, and commercial priorities
  • Contribute to the creation and negotiation of new licensing contracts
  • Support sales, marketing, client, and retailer presentations
  • Direct product development and delivery of licensing programs
  • Bring internal and external contributors together to keep projects structured, efficient, commercially sound, and aligned to business requirements
  • Produce brand decks, retailer-tailored materials, and other tools that support growth
  • Track consumer behavior, industry activity, sales projections, and market intelligence
  • Help build, roll out, and refine licensing workflows, templates, systems, and reporting practices
  • Work with Finance and licensees to collect, assess, and track forecasts and sales performance
  • Keep client and licensing activity reports and trackers accurate and current
  • Coordinate calendars and meetings, including agendas and supporting materials
  • Join internal and external meetings, capture decisions and actions, and prepare recaps with follow-up

Requirements

  • At least three years of results-focused experience in licensing, brand management, or consumer products, preferably involving food and beverage brands
  • Background working with high-caliber intellectual property
  • Proven ability to operate in a complex matrix organization and deliver outcomes through colleagues who may not report directly to you
  • Track record of developing and sustaining strong relationships with important partners across categories and regions
  • Professional, approachable, flexible, inventive, dependable, diligent, and highly ethical, with initiative and comfort in a fast-moving environment
  • Well-developed time-management and prioritization skills
  • Capability in financial and budget management, analysis, and reporting, including interpreting and reporting licensee sales, royalties, forecasts, and budgets
  • Strong organizational and multitasking ability across a growing account portfolio, while advancing work through product development, legal, finance, and creative teams
  • Consistently meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong sales capability supported by quantitative analysis and clear business rationale
  • Ability to engage, motivate, and align the organization around a client’s vision, positioning, and strategy
