AML Officer (Malta Hybrid)

Investigate financial crime alerts, manage AML cases, and support responsible gaming compliance for Torrero’s regulated iGaming and B2B payment solutions.

Description

  • Investigate alerts indicating potential money laundering risks and apply appropriate remediation measures
  • Resolve AML cases promptly to support efficient customer dispute handling
  • Identify gaps in processes or transaction flows and implement or establish measures to address them
  • Support the development and upkeep of AML policies and procedures
  • Investigate escalated queries and complaints and determine suitable action
  • Create AML training materials and deliver training to relevant teams
  • Coordinate with Customer Support, Responsible Gaming, Compliance, and CRM teams to uphold responsible gaming standards
  • Produce recurring management reports and presentations on responsible gaming activities and results
  • Monitor changes to laws and regulations affecting responsible gaming
  • Maintain the company’s compliance with applicable responsible gaming obligations
  • Carry out other reasonable duties assigned by the department

Requirements

  • Prior AML experience within the iGaming sector
  • Solid knowledge of AML principles and operational practices
  • Discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Experience with MGA and UKGC gaming licences is highly advantageous
  • Knowledge of gaming regulations and industry standards in regulated markets
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Fluency in English
