- Provide round-the-clock support for technology engineering, architecture, and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot systems and optimize performance.
- Implement solutions that support high availability.
- Build APIs and services for live production environments.
- Develop automation.
- Identify application and infrastructure risks and ways to mitigate them.
- Coordinate with teams to reduce identified risks.
- Debug issues and investigate their root causes.
- Use monitoring tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Apply ITIL practices for event, incident, release, problem, and knowledge management.
- Contribute to application design, software development, and automated testing.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience in computer science, computer science engineering, or a related field.
- At least six years of varied software engineering experience.
- Experience troubleshooting and tuning performance.
- Experience implementing high-availability solutions such as Always On, clustering, and mirroring.
- DevOps knowledge relevant to highly available IT infrastructure.
- Experience building APIs and services for live production environments.
- Experience developing automation.
- Familiarity with Agile or other rapid application development methods.
- Hands-on experience with application design, software development, and automated testing.
- Experience in banking or payments technology.
- Experience identifying application and infrastructure risks and mitigation strategies.
- Experience debugging systems and conducting root cause analysis.
- Experience with monitoring tools, including application performance monitoring, AIOps, or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of ITIL event, incident, release, problem, and knowledge management.
- Experience with one or more of these areas: programming languages, networking, Linux or Windows, mainframe, middleware, databases, or cloud.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical thinking, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
