- Lead direct and indirect business development across North America.
- Find new markets and customers for Bekaert’s specialty wire products.
- Manage the pipeline of quotes and customer trials.
- Create opportunities that increase sales volume and profitability.
- Evaluate markets and customers using volume, profit-pool, and market-CAGR considerations.
- Define regional opportunities and actions to capture them.
- Recommend product innovations that support business growth.
- Partner with customer engineers, purchasing teams, and owners to develop products and quantify material value propositions.
- Develop and deliver technical proposals.
- Coordinate with Bekaert’s Orrville engineering team to verify that customer specifications can be met.

- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical discipline such as engineering, metallurgy, or science.
- At least seven years of demonstrated business development or sales experience, ideally involving custom-fabricated products.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% across the assigned North American territory.
- Self-directed, proactive approach with strong strategic thinking.
- Clear, precise decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Working proficiency with CRM systems.
- Knowledge of PPAP procedures.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation.
