Tavsif

  • Lead and develop teams of AI software engineers through mentoring, performance management, and ongoing feedback.
  • Shape the architecture and delivery of scalable production AI products, such as chatbots, document processing systems, and agentic workflows.
  • Hire and retain AI engineering talent in India.
  • Partner with product, QA, architecture, security, and global engineering leaders.
  • Build FloQast’s centralized AI platform, including model routing, provider management, and vector search.
  • Promote lean development, Agile methods, and strong LLMOps and DevOps practices.
  • Deliver compliant, observable AI products that integrate with accounting systems and external APIs in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Report to the VP of Engineering.
  • Set technical standards across FloQast for agentic workflows, model context protocols (MCP), RAG, and LLMOps.
  • Collaborate across the organization to define technical direction for AI workflows and operations.

Talablar

  • Bring at least five years of software engineering management experience, leading teams that delivered complex backend or AI products to paying customers.
  • Have at least five years of experience as a hands-on software engineer.
  • Know Python, backend development, and cloud-native environments; AWS experience is preferred.
  • Be familiar with LLM APIs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), conversational AI, and scalable AI system design.
  • Have led distributed teams working across time zones.
  • Bring hands-on experience recruiting and interviewing engineers.
  • Have a strong record of supporting employee performance and career development.
  • Have at least five years of experience working on Agile teams using methods such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Support automated testing, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
  • Communicate complex system designs and AI strategy clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
