Technical Engineering Manager, Core AI
Lead India-based engineering teams building production AI for FloQast’s accounting automation platform. Guide RAG, agentic workflows, LLMOps, and collaboration across global teams.
Descriere
- Lead and develop teams of AI software engineers through mentoring, performance management, and ongoing feedback.
- Shape the architecture and delivery of scalable production AI products, such as chatbots, document processing systems, and agentic workflows.
- Hire and retain AI engineering talent in India.
- Partner with product, QA, architecture, security, and global engineering leaders.
- Build FloQast’s centralized AI platform, including model routing, provider management, and vector search.
- Promote lean development, Agile methods, and strong LLMOps and DevOps practices.
- Deliver compliant, observable AI products that integrate with accounting systems and external APIs in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Report to the VP of Engineering.
- Set technical standards across FloQast for agentic workflows, model context protocols (MCP), RAG, and LLMOps.
- Collaborate across the organization to define technical direction for AI workflows and operations.
Cerințe
- Bring at least five years of software engineering management experience, leading teams that delivered complex backend or AI products to paying customers.
- Have at least five years of experience as a hands-on software engineer.
- Know Python, backend development, and cloud-native environments; AWS experience is preferred.
- Be familiar with LLM APIs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), conversational AI, and scalable AI system design.
- Have led distributed teams working across time zones.
- Bring hands-on experience recruiting and interviewing engineers.
- Have a strong record of supporting employee performance and career development.
- Have at least five years of experience working on Agile teams using methods such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Support automated testing, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Communicate complex system designs and AI strategy clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
