Opis

  • Manage accounts and sell electrical testing, maintenance, repair, and engineering services to industrial, data center, hospital, and electrical contractor customers.
  • Drive direct sales and business development to meet sales and customer-retention goals.
  • Qualify prospective sales opportunities.
  • Meet annual sales budgets in the multi-million-dollar range.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Prepare estimates, proposals, and sales presentations.
  • Visit assigned accounts regularly to maintain relationships and identify changes and opportunities.
  • Keep industry and technical knowledge current with market needs.
  • Support road shows, national conferences, trade shows, sales training, trade organizations, and other sales engagement activities.
  • Resolve pricing and channel issues involving competitive quotes and cross-selling conflicts.
  • Support accounts with sales, purchase orders, terms and conditions, and customer relations.
  • Conduct job walks.
  • Coordinate between sales and production to qualify opportunities.
  • Support lunch-and-learns and lead customer discussions.
  • Work with Customer Service to improve the customer buying experience.
  • Support Shermco training events and trade shows.
  • Record sales activity in the CRM.

Zahteve

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is preferred, or equivalent education and experience.
  • At least three years of successful outside B2B sales experience.
  • Experience in engineering, industrial, heavy commercial, power-related, or high-voltage electrical equipment testing and maintenance is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and stay highly motivated.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, writing, and oral presentation skills.
  • Understanding of profitability and other financial measures.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, prospecting, forecasting, and customer decision-maker engagement skills.
  • Technical knowledge and consultative skills.
  • Willingness to travel overnight approximately 10–20% of the time.
  • Basic computer skills, including Excel, Word, Adobe, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, drive regularly, and work at customer sites.
  • Ability to pass fit-for-duty physical examinations.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
  • Ability to drive for extended periods, work at a desk or cubicle using a PC, and visit and tour different customer sites.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
