Director of Global Events

Lead Kaseya’s worldwide events portfolio for its AI-powered IT management and cybersecurity software, building scalable governance, teams, budgets, and measurable operations.

Opis

  • Direct program management for Kaseya’s Global Events organization.
  • Turn global event strategy into integrated annual and multi-year portfolio plans.
  • Manage the events calendar to balance business priorities, regional needs, budgets, and team capacity.
  • Oversee event intake, business case reviews, prioritization, and portfolio planning.
  • Build and lead the Events Program Management team.
  • Create governance frameworks, decision rights, playbooks, templates, timelines, RACI models, and run-of-show standards.
  • Set up status reporting, risk reviews, executive checkpoints, post-event reviews, and process improvements.
  • Lead complex programs across multiple workstreams, including flagship conferences and global sales kickoffs.
  • Coordinate Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing, Product, Finance, Legal, and regional teams on scope, timelines, and success measures.
  • Manage dependencies, critical paths, scope changes, and issue resolution across concurrent programs.
  • Advise executive stakeholders on recommendations and tradeoffs.
  • Oversee consolidated finances, multimillion-dollar budgets, multi-currency forecasts, and variance reporting.
  • Plan resources and capacity across employees, agencies, and freelance partners.
  • Set global sourcing strategy and negotiate with venues, agencies, production partners, and suppliers.
  • Set vendor performance standards, service levels, and scorecards.
  • Guide the events technology roadmap, including project management, registration, event platforms, CRM, and marketing automation integrations.
  • Set and track portfolio KPIs for budget adherence, attendee satisfaction, pipeline contribution, revenue influence, and event ROI.
  • Provide executives with dashboards and portfolio reports that include actionable recommendations.
  • Apply data and insights to improve planning accuracy, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.
  • Hire, mentor, and lead a high-performing global team of event program managers.
  • Define team roles, career paths, competency standards, coaching, mentorship, succession planning, and professional development.

Zahteve

  • At least 10 years of experience in event program management, event operations, or related program management, including 5 or more years leading teams.
  • Track record managing global portfolios of large conferences, customer and partner events, executive programs, sales kickoffs, and trade shows across regions.
  • Experience establishing or leading a PMO, program governance, standardized processes, or scalable operating models.
  • Experience overseeing multimillion-dollar budgets, multi-currency forecasting, contract negotiations, and vendor partnerships.
  • Experience in technology, cybersecurity, IT services, or a high-growth organization.
  • Advanced skills with project and portfolio tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, and Jira; event platforms such as Cvent; and CRM and marketing automation systems such as Salesforce, Marketo, and HubSpot.
  • Knowledge of international event logistics, risk management, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong program management capabilities, including planning, prioritization, dependency management, and risk mitigation across concurrent programs.
  • Executive presence and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including without direct authority.
  • Experience leading distributed teams in fast-paced, growth-oriented settings.
  • Availability for domestic and international travel as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field preferred.
