Descriere

  • Lead and develop engineering teams building SaaS platforms and an XR training simulator.
  • Own architecture for current and future products, ensuring scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
  • Take several products in development from architectural direction through launch.
  • Manage technology spending across infrastructure, tools, vendors, and AI usage.
  • Create product and technology roadmaps for the shift from project delivery to recurring revenue.
  • Define security standards for software and XR products.
  • Grow the use of AI tools and agents in engineering while improving productivity and managing costs.
  • Attend client meetings with account management and product teams when technical leadership is required.
  • Contribute to leadership conversations about product direction and business strategy.

Cerințe

  • At least five years in senior technology leadership, with responsibility for how engineering teams plan, build, and deliver software.
  • Demonstrated people leadership, including hiring, coaching, and retaining engineers and earning established teams’ trust.
  • Experience setting technology roadmaps and bringing software products from concept to market.
  • Direct responsibility for technology budgets covering infrastructure, tools, vendors, and AI spending.
  • Strong expertise in software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and application security.
  • Practical experience incorporating AI tools and agents into engineering workflows, with an understanding of costs and returns.
  • Able to represent technical strategy to clients and executives in business terms.
  • XR, VR, or mixed reality product experience, or Unity development experience, is an advantage.
  • Experience transitioning a business from project delivery to a product model is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with labour unions, skilled trades, apprenticeship programs, or member-based organizations is an advantage.
