Descriere

  • Oversee payroll accounting, journal entries, expense allocations, fringe benefits, management fee allocations, and payroll reconciliations.
  • Prepare equity rollforward schedules and quarterly summaries of equity activity.
  • Manage accounts payable coding, payments, aging, reconciliations, and long-outstanding items.
  • Analyze monthly period and budget variances, including COGS and SG&A classification.
  • Manage and develop two Senior GL Accountants and the AP Specialist.
  • Review and approve work completed by Senior GL Accountants and GL Accountants.
  • Set daily and monthly priorities in line with the month-end close calendar.
  • Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules.
  • Maintain clear account ownership, documented processes, and audit-ready support.
  • Prepare or review audit schedules and information requests, and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
  • Improve close processes using NetSuite and related tools.
  • Work with People/HR, FP&A, Treasury, Product/Engineering, Legal, Tax, and external advisors.
  • Complete ad hoc projects and other duties assigned by the Assistant Controller or Controller.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • At least 6–8 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Hands-on month-end close experience across multiple general ledger areas.
  • Experience with payroll accounting, accounts payable, and expense classification between COGS and SG&A.
  • At least two years of direct accounting staff management or supervision.
  • Experience reviewing colleagues' work and giving constructive feedback.
  • Experience capitalizing internally developed software.
  • Experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP system.
  • Excel proficiency, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
  • Experience in a high-volume, multi-entity, or multi-processor environment.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to coach staff and collaborate across functions.
  • Ability to establish structure and disciplined processes in evolving or ambiguous areas of ownership.
  • CPA credential or active pursuit of CPA preferred.
