Clinical Trial Site Contract Specialist

Negotiate clinical trial site agreements and investigator budgets for pharmaceutical and biotech sponsors. Coordinate contract timelines, compliance, risk reviews, and site activation.

Descriere

  • Draft and finalize agreements with clinical study sites.
  • Negotiate investigator grant budgets and contract terms within approved limits.
  • Follow negotiation parameters, approval authority, contract processes, client expectations, budget guidance, templates, and procedures.
  • Assess legal, financial, and operational risks and raise issues as needed.
  • Recommend approaches and alternative resolutions for investigator contract negotiations.
  • Coordinate site startup work and contract timelines with internal departments.
  • Keep contract negotiations aligned with the critical path for site activation.
  • Meet target turnaround times for site activations.
  • Raise issues that fall outside approved parameters through established channels.
  • Build effective working relationships with study sites and internal teams.
  • Maintain quality, objectivity, and sound risk analysis in contract delivery.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus relevant formal academic or vocational qualifications.
  • 2–5 years of comparable experience providing the knowledge and skills needed for the role.
  • Relevant education, training, and/or directly related experience may be considered equivalent.
  • Good understanding of contract law, including business, intellectual property, local tax, and stamp laws.
  • Ability to apply basic investigator grant negotiation principles.
  • General understanding of business and financial principles related to service agreements.
  • Effective spoken and written communication in English and the local language.
  • Ability to draft and negotiate contract provisions and budget issues within set parameters, with appropriate oversight.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical product development and CRO involvement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of PPD SOPs and WPDs.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and review contractual risks and issues.
  • Ability to use automated systems and computer applications.
  • Customer-focused communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work upright and/or stationary for 6–8 hours per day.
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand movements and move frequently.
  • Ability to occasionally crouch, stoop, bend, and twist.
  • Ability to lift and carry 15–20 lbs.
  • Regular and consistent attendance.
