Independent Contractor Recruiter – Last-Mile Logistics

Build and manage qualified delivery-contractor networks for Fidelitone’s last-mile logistics operations. Oversee recruiting, compliance audits, performance coordination, and launch support.

Apraksts

  • Build and maintain a qualified Independent Contractor network aligned with business objectives.
  • Partner with General Managers to monitor Independent Contractor performance.
  • Work with General Managers, Regional Managers, and the Regional Director to support growth and generate Independent Contractor attrition.
  • Monitor delivery standard operating procedures to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Coach and train Independent Contractors on customer requirements.
  • Research, identify, and enroll Independent Contractors in designated markets.
  • Apply a consistent vetting process based on company, DOT, and other legal requirements.
  • Conduct Independent Contractor audits covering load-out, uniform and truck inspections, ride-alongs, in-home checks, check-ins, and invoice validation.
  • Ensure Independent Contractor paperwork and payout procedures are accurate, understood, and followed.
  • Serve as the recruiting liaison between Independent Contractors and location managers.
  • Maintain industry knowledge, including Independent Contractor pay rates by delivery service level.
  • Support recruiting and startup planning for new business launches.
  • Maintain current knowledge of locations, clients, and available services.
  • Coordinate Independent Contractor interviews with the Operations team.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews with Independent Contractors and managers.
  • Provide Independent Contractor rates for business development opportunities.
  • Complete other assigned duties.

Prasības

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and other business systems.
  • Working knowledge of P&L management and sales profitability.
  • At least five years of operations, management, or systems and applications experience in logistics, supply chain services, or delivery-provider environments.
  • Experience managing third-party contracts for delivery agents.
  • An undergraduate degree in business or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous business development experience is a plus.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to research, identify, vet, and enroll Independent Contractors.
  • Knowledge of company, DOT, and other legal requirements for qualifying Independent Contractors.
  • Knowledge of logistics, supply chain, and delivery service environments.
  • Ability to conduct Independent Contractor audits, inspections, ride-alongs, in-home checks, check-ins, and invoice validation.
  • Ability to understand and follow Independent Contractor paperwork and payout procedures.
  • Ability to coordinate interviews and recruiting activities with operations teams.
  • Ability to provide Independent Contractor rates for business development opportunities.
