LitePoint Service Engineer in Vietnam

Provide onsite field service for LitePoint high-speed test systems across Vietnam. Install, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain customer equipment.

Aprašymas

  • Manage customer RMA requests, service updates, logistics, and shipment arrangements.
  • Repair, calibrate, upgrade, and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Travel within Vietnam and internationally to install products and support quality needs.
  • Visit customer sites to install equipment, provide onsite service and training, and support key accounts.
  • Verify site readiness, including power, grounding, network, cabling, tools, spare parts, and safety provisions.
  • Unpack and assemble equipment, then cable and connect chassis, modules, racks, accessories, and peripherals.
  • Run power-on checks, configure and align systems, calibrate equipment, conduct functional tests, and complete site acceptance testing.
  • Secure customer approval following installation and acceptance.
  • Act as the main onsite technical contact and resolve issues through verified closure.
  • Troubleshoot test stations, fixtures, and applications in laboratory and production settings.
  • Identify hardware faults at the system and subassembly levels.
  • Replace approved field-replaceable parts, such as power supplies, fans, circuit boards, modules, cables, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Use diagnostic tools and reference hardware to pinpoint hardware, software, firmware, configuration, fixture, and cabling faults.
  • Keep system records current for service cases, RMAs, shipments, and contract dates.
  • Work with internal field service and applications teams to support customers locally and regionally.
  • Calibrate and maintain test stations and high-value test equipment.
  • Assemble and disassemble equipment and troubleshoot minor mechanical problems.
  • Handle additional requests from management.

Reikalavimai

  • Basic knowledge of electrical or electronic systems.
  • Wireless and optical or photonics experience is preferred.
  • At least five years of hands-on electronics experience, such as technician, engineering, or laboratory work.
  • Experience with RF test equipment, including oscilloscopes, network analyzers, power meters, spectrum analyzers, and RF signal generators.
  • Optical testing or high-speed test solution experience is an advantage.
  • Strong troubleshooting, failure analysis, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, including clearly explaining problems and how they were resolved.
  • Dedication to high-quality work and customer satisfaction.
  • Goal-oriented, results-focused, assertive, and hardworking.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Good spoken and written English.
  • Chinese language skills are an advantage.
  • Enthusiasm for customer support and careful attention to detail and quality.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in electrical or electronic engineering.
  • Applicants with another engineering or computer science background may also apply if they have relevant experience.
  • Must already be based near the position; relocation is not provided.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
