IT Operations Support Analyst

Schedule and oversee application batch processing for Building Service 32BJ Benefit Funds. Support security administration, file transfers, application testing, and production issue resolution.

  • Schedule and oversee daily system batch runs, including weekend processing.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to set and publish the monthly batch calendar, follow established timelines, and adjust schedules for unplanned requests in production and non-production environments.
  • Maintain system factor tables.
  • Administer user security access.
  • Support day-to-day application operations.
  • Initiate and monitor file transfers.
  • Report production processing issues for supported applications promptly.
  • Investigate and document application failures.
  • Provide on-site and remote application support as needed, including weekends and off-hours.
  • Keep support records and procedure manuals up to date.
  • Test applications and document test cases, results, and defects.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors.
  • Complete other duties assigned by management or supervisory staff.
  • Report to the Manager, Business Analysts.

Reikalavimai

  • Bring at least two years of experience with batch scheduling and calendar planning.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Have experience administering user security, including creating and terminating accounts, assigning security roles, configuring custom access, and applying security concepts.
  • Use sound problem-solving skills.
  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Stay well organized.
  • Learn quickly and adapt to change.
  • Work effectively as part of a team.
  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, business, or a related field from an accredited college is preferred.
  • Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Be available for regular weekend work, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, according to operational needs and established schedules.
