Senior Data Analyst – BI and Analytics
Develop dashboards, KPIs, data pipelines, and analytical solutions for WAMGROUP. Help advance the company’s Data Lake, Lakehouse, and Databricks environments.

- Create and improve dashboards, KPIs, and management reports
- Design and organize KPIs for multiple business areas
- Partner with business teams to gather and clarify their needs
- Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and data structures
- Extract, process, transform, organize, and validate data from varied sources
- Write SQL queries for data analysis, preparation, and processing
- Build and refine BI and Analytics data models
- Develop and maintain ETL and ELT workflows
- Help create, maintain, and improve data pipelines
- Connect data from databases, APIs, files, and corporate systems
- Design processes for collecting, storing, processing, and distributing data
- Help organize and evolve the Data Lake and Lakehouse environment
- Contribute to the design and adoption of Databricks
- Automate data collection, processing, and information delivery workflows
- Conduct exploratory analysis to uncover patterns, trends, anomalies, and opportunities
- Investigate discrepancies and inconsistencies between data sources
- Maintain the consistency, quality, and reliability of information
- Define and document KPIs, business rules, sources, models, and data processes
- Help establish data-use standards and best practices
- Identify opportunities to improve information architecture, processing, and delivery
- Collaborate with Systems, Technology, and business teams

- Practical experience with Power BI or a comparable data visualization and analytics platform
- Demonstrated ability to build, organize, and improve dashboards and KPIs
- Strong SQL skills for querying, processing, transforming, and analyzing data
- Experience designing and working with data models
- Knowledge of data cleansing, transformation, processing, and validation
- Understanding of ETL and ELT processes and principles
- Experience combining data from multiple sources
- Knowledge of relational database systems
- Ability to design workflows for collecting, transforming, storing, and distributing information
- Understanding of data-environment organization and architecture
- Ability to diagnose and resolve data-related issues
- Strong analytical and information interpretation capabilities
- Ability to understand business processes and turn them into data solutions
- Clear communication skills when working with technical and business stakeholders
- Ability to document data processes, sources, rules, and structures
- Autonomous approach to handling requests and investigating issues
- Databricks experience or knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge of Data Lake and Lakehouse architecture is a plus
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines is a plus
- Experience with APIs and cross-system integration is a plus
- Knowledge of data quality and governance practices is a plus
- Experience organizing or improving corporate data environments is a plus
- Knowledge of processing and storing large data volumes is a plus
- Experience automating data workflows is a plus
- Python knowledge for data applications is a plus
- Knowledge of data version control, orchestration, or transformation tools is a plus
