General Manager, Marketing and Ecommerce Growth – Mexico Remote
Lead growth for HoopStars, a Toronto-based youth basketball business, across marketing, ecommerce, sales, and operations. Build Community Sports Partners’ parent-company marketing function across its brands.

- Own HoopStars’ business plan, budget, revenue, profitability, and cash forecasts
- Lead sales and operations, keeping programs, coaches, venues, and service quality aligned with demand
- Improve paid search, social advertising, creative, landing pages, enrollment funnels, pricing, offers, referrals, and retention
- Design the structure of the parent-company marketing team
- Hire specialists and engage contractors or agencies when appropriate
- Set priorities and manage performance across brands
- Link campaign performance to paying customers, repeat enrollment, and contribution profit
- Direct marketing investment through reliable reporting and structured testing
- Review advertising accounts, identify funnel issues, and support improvement launches
- Develop a team capable of consistent execution
- Learn the customers, operations, and economics within the first 90 days
- Audit marketing across brands and establish reporting systems
- Recommend marketing-team structure and hiring priorities
- Launch initial growth experiments and manage routine HoopStars business decisions
- Deliver clear weekly reports, escalate exceptional issues, and join monthly business reviews with the founder

- A track record of results in paid acquisition, conversion, and retention
- Commercial ownership extending beyond marketing spend, including pricing, margins, staffing, forecasts, or profitability
- Experience hiring and leading marketers, creatives, agencies, or other specialists
- Ability to apply ecommerce practices to a service business with operational capacity and customer commitments
- Willingness to handle hands-on work while developing people and systems
- Professional fluency in English and strong remote-leadership skills
- Experience in youth sports, education, fitness, memberships, or multi-location services is helpful
- A record of building a profitable business and an effective team is the primary consideration
