Solution Analyst – Healthcare Business Analysis

Solution Analyst supporting Highmark Health’s Living Health solutions through business analysis, process modeling, analytics, and operational planning. The role works with healthcare stakeholders and contributes to solution portfolio development.

Description

  • Define, scope, and prioritize solution strategy and analysis across assigned workstreams
  • Prepare and support regular leadership reporting on project activities
  • Build relationships across matrixed teams and stakeholder groups
  • Lead planning sessions with solution portfolio leaders, clinicians, and business stakeholders
  • Analyze, document, and improve business models, processes, and systems
  • Use Lean, Six Sigma, work simplification, organizational design, scenario planning, performance measurement, and process optimization methods
  • Apply Human-Centered Design and business analysis methods to assess impacts on people, processes, and technology
  • Determine root causes and recommend mitigating actions
  • Create documentation, presentations, and communications that explain findings, strategies, rationale, and solution priorities
  • Support business model design, process definition, operational planning, workflow analysis, KPI integration, and regulatory, risk, and compliance controls

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or relevant experience and education accepted by the company in place of a bachelor’s degree
  • At least three years of experience in business consulting, business strategy, business analysis, business process analysis, or a related operational function
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate discussions and working sessions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to use statistical analysis to quantify opportunities and support process optimization
  • Understanding of change-execution roles and deployment practices
  • Working knowledge of business process modeling concepts, components, and applications
  • Strong understanding of healthcare-specific domains
  • Ability to observe performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies
  • Ability to produce strategic and analytical documentation, presentations, and communications
  • Ability to comply with HIPAA, data-security guidelines, company privacy and information-security policies, the Code of Business Conduct, applicable laws and regulations, company policies, and training requirements
  • No license or certification is required
  • English proficiency is required; no additional languages are required
