- Define and document standards for instrumentation and experimentation
- Work with product engineering teams to implement those standards across priority development initiatives
- Develop and enhance scalable analysis pipelines and supporting tools
- Build tools and operating processes that give teams independent access to trusted datasets, insights, and metric definitions
- Surface data quality and discoverability issues and champion focused improvements
- Keep documentation current for tools, datasets, metrics, and operating practices
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering, and Business Intelligence teams to share actionable insights and guide product improvements
- Apply AI to speed analysis, prototyping, and iteration while validating accuracy, quality, and responsible use
Requirements
- At least four years of experience delivering analytics engineering or data solutions in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
- Proficiency with SQL and Python, R, or a comparable programming language for large, high-dimensional datasets
- Knowledge of nested data structures, window functions, query optimization, and data partitioning
- Experience building and operating data workflows, including orchestration, ETL or ELT pipelines, and DAG dependencies
- Ability to turn open-ended partner needs into technical objectives and collaborate across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering, and Business Intelligence
- Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve the speed and quality of engineering workflows
- Ability to rigorously validate AI-assisted work through testing, data validation, source checks, or peer review
- Strong integrity, ownership, and accountability when handling sensitive data and deliverables
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
