Description

  • Maintain the company data warehouse and curated datasets for analytics use
  • Own and improve the dbt codebase through modular design, testing, and documentation
  • Connect sources including HubSpot, GitHub, and Linear to the broader data ecosystem
  • Develop tooling and infrastructure that make analytics development more effective for technical and business users
  • Work with analysts and stakeholders to create scalable models for self-service analytics
  • Promote data engineering and analytics practices that strengthen trust, documentation, and reproducibility
  • Expand access to dependable data and appropriate tools so teams can make informed decisions

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in analytics or data engineering focused on enabling downstream reporting and analysis
  • Strong Python skills for scripting, tooling, and data transformation
  • Practical experience with dbt and SQL-driven transformation pipelines
  • Solid knowledge of data modeling, including dimensional, star, and snowflake schemas
  • Familiarity with modern OLAP warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift, with Snowflake preferred
  • Experience using Airflow or a comparable orchestration tool
  • Working knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure and containerized environments such as Docker; Kubernetes is a plus
  • Clear communicator who can collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Self-directed approach with a commitment to clean, documented, and tested data code
