Description

  • Administer grants and provide research support for Pharmacy, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy programs
  • Develop grant and funding proposals, including detailed budgets
  • Gather documentation from subrecipients, external collaborators, and institutional partners
  • Assist with grant submissions through the InfoEd electronic research administration system
  • Coordinate Personnel Activity Reports and track grant spending
  • Prepare journal entries, progress reports, closeout materials, and final financial reconciliations
  • Monitor faculty research startup funds
  • Maintain records of laboratory instruments, equipment, and maintenance agreements with lab managers
  • Gather and report research activity data across SPAHP
  • Maintain databases tracking grants, scholarly work, publications, and presentations
  • Prepare Employee Action Forms and procure equipment, services, and supplies
  • Provide administrative and student support for the Graduate Programs in Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • Support approximately 12 graduate students with committee meetings, thesis defenses, poster and presentation preparation, conference registration, and Graduate School coordination
  • Administer the Student Research Fellowship program’s communications, events, financial aid disbursements, and budget tracking
  • Assist the Associate Dean of Research with scheduling, room reservations, travel, correspondence, file management, and related administration
  • Support Office of Research budgets, P-card transactions, invoices, and expense reimbursements
  • Assemble grant details, school research posters, research interests, and representative scholarly works

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Three years of administrative or office management experience
  • Experience managing finances
  • Experience with grants management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Tableau
  • Capacity to complete and adapt work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Advanced proficiency across Office 365
  • Customer-focused approach with the ability to protect confidential information
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize competing work in a deadline-driven environment
