Remote HR Administrator (South Africa)
Manage contracts, onboarding, records and employee queries as an HR Administrator. Support a UK people team remotely from South Africa during UK working hours.
Description
- Prepare employment contracts, offer letters and other employee documents.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding using established checklists.
- Keep employee records accurate in the HR information system.
- Track leave, probation reviews and contract renewals.
- Handle employee queries and assist with recruitment administration.
- Manage employee processes from offer through departure.
- Provide administrative support to the UK people team.
- Maintain accurate, compliant HR processes.
- Use cloud-based tools for routine HR work.
Requirements
- Experience in HR administration or people support.
- Experience using an HR system such as BambooHR or Workable.
- Strong written English and careful attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
- Strong organisation and follow-through.
- Familiarity with UK employment practices.
- Experience coordinating recruitment.
- Experience preparing HR reports in Excel.
- Must be based in South Africa.
- Able to work UK hours, 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST).
