Product Sales Support Specialist, Motorcoaches

Coordinate U.S. motorcoach orders, compliance, and delivery, connecting Daimler Truck North America’s sales teams with European manufacturing and engineering partners.

Description

  • Connect the sales team with coach manufacturers and European product and engineering teams.
  • Manage vehicle specifications, production orders, and related sales documentation.
  • Work with Sales Managers to match technical specifications to customer needs.
  • Track production schedules, build slots, order changes, and factory inquiries to support accurate, timely delivery.
  • Maintain vehicle order records in SAP and related files.
  • Submit and track vehicle compliance documents.
  • Prepare annual EPA and CARB certification packages and support U.S. regulatory compliance.
  • Report on production orders, sales activity, product updates, and market developments.
  • Research North American motorcoach trends, segments, regions, and competitors.
  • Turn market, field, and customer feedback into recommendations for U.S. product updates.
  • Coordinate work across sales, product management, engineering, logistics, and manufacturing.
  • Address order and product questions, translating customer and market needs into vehicle specifications and internal processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Five years of relevant experience in sales support, customer service, logistics, product management, or a related B2B setting.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, SAP, CRM platforms, and order management tools.
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to manage several projects and priorities accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with professional customer service etiquette.
  • High accountability, integrity, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Resume must be included with the application.
  • German language skills are an exceptional qualification.
  • Experience in automotive, commercial vehicles, motorcoaches, or capital equipment is an exceptional qualification.
  • Technical knowledge or education in mechanical engineering, commercial vehicles, or a related area is an exceptional qualification.
  • Global manufacturing experience is an exceptional qualification.
  • Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States when applying.
  • Final candidates must pass a criminal background check.
  • Final candidates may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
