Part-Time Field Service Technician II – Dallas/Fort Worth, TX

NCR Atleos is hiring a part-time, onsite Field Service Technician II in Dallas/Fort Worth. The role covers equipment troubleshooting, installations, preventive maintenance, and spare-parts handling.

Description

  • Troubleshoot equipment and systems onsite and perform basic corrective maintenance
  • Reset systems, verify configurations, and replace minor components
  • Install, set up, remove, and commission equipment at customer or operational sites
  • Complete scheduled preventive maintenance through inspections, cleaning, and basic adjustments
  • Deliver, replace, and return spare or defective parts while tracking usage
  • Document hours, completed work, and service results in service management systems
  • Follow service procedures, safety standards, and site-specific instructions
  • Escalate complex or unresolved problems to senior technical support teams
  • Share status updates and join scheduled service coordination meetings

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Residence within the designated local service area
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Minimum age of 19
  • At least one year of field service, technical support, or maintenance experience, including applicable professional, contract, or academic work
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or IT systems relevant to the service environment
  • Ability to follow written procedures, safety rules, and work instructions
  • Ability to accurately record and report hours in an hourly work setting
  • Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving history, and availability to travel to field locations
  • Ability to complete applicable background checks, safety training, and required certifications
  • Technical or vocational education in electronics, mechanics, IT, engineering, or a related discipline preferred
  • Current or completed enrollment in a technical, engineering, or trade school program preferred
  • Experience servicing field equipment or distributed technology environments preferred
  • Familiarity with service ticketing, work-order, or preventive-maintenance systems preferred
