Junior Graphic Designer at Murj — Remote, United States

Create reusable brand assets, templates, marketing materials, and multimedia content for Murj’s cardiac device management SaaS. Support digital, video, print, website, and cross-functional design initiatives.

Description

  • Manage and improve Murj’s shared library of graphics, templates, presentations, video components, and other reusable creative assets.
  • Develop clear naming, versioning, search, and usage systems for brand resources.
  • Help maintain and extend Murj’s brand guidelines by turning standards into practical templates and tools.
  • Guide colleagues in applying brand resources consistently across their work.
  • Design and refine presentations, campaign visuals, sales collateral, marketing materials, graphic elements, and related assets.
  • Produce on-brand graphics for social platforms and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Edit, assemble, clean up, and prepare video content for marketing, social, sales, and internal communications.
  • Create video titles, supporting graphics, and straightforward motion treatments.
  • Deliver polished, print-ready materials that satisfy visual, technical, and production specifications.
  • Assess and thoughtfully introduce AI-enabled creative tools into brand and asset-management workflows.
  • Provide visual assets and design assistance for website projects and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Head of Graphic Design and Director of Marketing.
  • Within the first 90 days, learn Murj’s products and visual identity, audit and organize assets, improve templates, provide creative support, and surface workflow enhancements.

Requirements

  • A strong graphic design portfolio, internship record, freelance background, or comparable project experience.
  • Strong command of typography, layout, visual hierarchy, and detail across digital and print formats.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Experience designing and refining presentations in PowerPoint or Google Slides.
  • Experience working with shared asset libraries or digital asset-management platforms.
  • Working knowledge of print production standards and file preparation.
  • Strong organization skills and an interest in creating clear, reusable asset and template systems.
  • Ability to incorporate feedback, balance multiple assignments, and carry projects through completion.
  • Resourceful, curious mindset when approaching unfamiliar tools or briefs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Availability during core hours of 8:00 AM–5:00 PM in the employee’s timezone.
  • 2–3 years of relevant graphic design experience is preferred.
  • Motion design or animation experience, especially with After Effects, is preferred.
  • Video editing experience with Premiere Pro or a comparable application is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Figma, website design, or digital design systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools and responsible creative-use practices is preferred.
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare, SaaS, or another technical field is preferred.
