Inside Sales Representative, Respiratory Interventions (Remote, Massachusetts)

Medtronic is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support virtual sales of respiratory and airway-management products. The role manages U.S. healthcare accounts, develops territory opportunities, and drives customer adoption.

Description

  • Support the Respiratory Interventions airway portfolio for small acute care hospitals
  • Generate and develop new business through outbound calls, lead generation, and targeted sales campaigns
  • Meet or exceed territory sales objectives through virtual customer engagement and account management
  • Use customer, territory, and sales data to prioritize opportunities and create account plans
  • Manage customer accounts, build relationships, increase product utilization, and uncover growth opportunities
  • Explain product features, clinical applications, and value propositions to customers
  • Partner with field sales representatives and cross-functional teams on customer activities and business goals
  • Coordinate product evaluations and demonstrations
  • Negotiate and close sales while resolving customer questions, concerns, and adoption barriers
  • Share market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insights to support commercial strategy and business planning

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with at least 6 years of relevant sales, customer support, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences; or an associate degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while balancing competing priorities and customer needs
  • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout employment
  • Preferred: experience in inside sales, virtual sales, remote sales, business development, or quota-carrying sales
  • Preferred: experience with prospecting, lead generation, cold calling, or other outbound sales activities
  • Preferred: experience using CRM systems and sales performance data
  • Preferred: sales experience with medical devices, healthcare, respiratory care, or acute care hospitals
  • Preferred: demonstrated use of analytics, sales reporting, and market data to create territory plans and grow revenue
  • Preferred: experience working with field sales teams and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Preferred: clinical background, healthcare certification, or experience supporting products used in acute care settings
  • For bachelor's degrees earned outside the United States, the degree must satisfy 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)
  • Ability to work consistently from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time
