Field Service Representative II – Onsite

Deliver, service, and maintain medical equipment for Solventum’s healthcare customers. Support hospitals and patients through onsite service, logistics, inventory management, and equipment documentation.

Description

  • Deliver, collect, maintain, and transport medical device equipment for healthcare customers
  • Develop and sustain professional customer relationships
  • Provide patient- and hospital-focused service solutions
  • Manage orders and maintain accurate records using company-issued computers and electronic equipment
  • Assess service and product inquiries, respond promptly, and complete appropriate follow-up
  • Investigate missing or misplaced medical equipment
  • Operate a company vehicle safely for deliveries, equipment retrieval, and onsite customer service
  • Clean, disinfect, test, validate, and complete routine maintenance on medical device equipment
  • Plan and prioritize assigned work to meet customer service deadlines
  • Pick, pack, ship, receive, load, and unload medical equipment shipments
  • Follow safety procedures and company policies while maintaining a clean, safe workplace
  • Help train staff and customers on relevant processes
  • Act as the facility’s designated contact when the Field Service Lead is unavailable
  • Manage a core service center process, such as inventory, tracking, reconciliation, or order management
  • Travel domestically up to 15%, potentially including commercial air travel

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, or higher
  • At least three years of experience in a customer-facing or service-related role
  • Current, valid driver’s license
  • Availability for nontraditional schedules, including extended hours, evenings, weekends, and on-call assignments
  • Ability to satisfy physical requirements identified through required Job Safety Analysis fitness testing
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and iOS applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management and prioritization abilities
  • Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without visa sponsorship
  • Completion of pre-employment and ongoing motor vehicle history reviews for company vehicle use
