Contract Manager, Public-Sector Contracts (Hybrid)

Manage Genetec’s public-sector and cooperative purchasing contracts from onboarding through renewal and close-out. Strengthen compliance, contract data, reporting, systems, and transaction growth.

Description

  • Manage the full lifecycle of contract vehicles, from onboarding and pricing schedules through modifications, options, renewals, and close-out.
  • Serve as the subject-matter expert and main contact for contract vehicles.
  • Maintain compliance with contract terms, eligibility requirements, and reporting obligations.
  • Keep contract documentation, pricing schedules, and records accurate and ready for audit.
  • Review how contracts are sold, tracked, and recorded, identifying process gaps, risks, and challenges.
  • Recommend and implement a scalable target operating model.
  • Create standards, playbooks, controls, and standard operating procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue and transaction volume while evaluating new contract vehicles.
  • Work with technical business system owners to structure and record contracts, pricing, and obligations in CRM and related systems.
  • Set data standards, naming conventions, and workflows.
  • Direct system improvements, configuration changes, and automation initiatives.
  • Keep records audit-ready and consistent with governance and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, Sales, Pricing, Product, and Operations teams.
  • Advise leadership on contract strategy, risk exposure, and growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate stakeholder reviews and approval processes.
  • Create reports and dashboards covering contract performance, obligations, renewals, and compliance.
  • Track key metrics, service levels, and deadlines, escalating risks early.
  • Maintain documentation, templates, and job aids.

Requirements

  • At least two years of lead-level experience in contract management, commercial or deal operations, public-sector or government contracting, or a related field.
  • Ability to evaluate current processes and design scalable operating models with effective governance.
  • Strong cross-functional stakeholder management skills, including direct collaboration with IT and business system owners.
  • Experience converting contract requirements into system configurations, data standards, and reports.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
  • A bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or MBA is considered an asset.
  • Fluency in written and spoken French and English.
  • Hands-on experience managing public-sector contract vehicles and cooperative purchasing agreements.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and a CPQ or ERP platform.
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools and contract documentation practices.
  • Working knowledge of public-sector compliance requirements covering reporting, eligibility, and pricing rules.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI reporting skills.
  • Experience with change management or process transformation.
