Contract Administrator - Pune Hybrid

Contract Administrator supporting material procurement, purchase requisitions, customer orders, reporting, compliance, and process improvement for Rockwell Automation. This hybrid Pune role works with global teams across manufacturing technology operations.

Description

  • Assess engineers’ material requirements and verify part availability in internal systems
  • Work with master data and ETO teams to activate required parts
  • Enter material demand and purchase requisitions into business systems
  • Handle administrative and operational activities for designated global teams and functions
  • Compile and summarize supporting operational data
  • Request ROHS certificates from suppliers
  • Partner with engineers and project teams to manage requisition and material fulfillment requirements
  • Support customer orders from receipt through completion
  • Purchase goods and services from approved suppliers
  • Coordinate with regional and domestic teams to maintain compliance and efficient processing
  • Retrieve data from SAP, IFS, and other business systems and issue required reports
  • Support root cause investigations, record deviations, and address audit requests
  • Communicate with peers and regional partners through email and conference calls
  • Coordinate status updates, material availability and delivery, and receipt tracking across teams
  • Assist with training administration and service activities for education services
  • Serve as an internal contact for customer questions
  • Support continuous improvement projects and record process updates
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline processes and uncover improvement opportunities

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in science, commerce, business administration, or an equivalent qualification is preferred
  • At least two years of relevant experience in business operations and order management
  • Experience working with global teams and engaging clients from remote locations
  • Availability for flexible shifts covering global time zones, including AP, EMEA, NA, and LA
  • Practical business operations experience with material management, supply requests, shopping carts, material tracking, shipping, and goods receipt processes is preferred
  • Procurement experience is advantageous
  • Experience with audits and service contracts is an additional advantage
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is advantageous
  • Ability to adapt and handle challenging situations effectively
  • Accountability for completing assigned responsibilities and supporting team outcomes
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong focus on customer experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly and demonstrate understanding to peers and customers
