Business Intelligence Analyst II - Remote Healthcare Analytics

Description

  • Deliver enterprise business intelligence and analytics solutions that support organizational goals
  • Partner with stakeholders and business leaders to manage a roadmap serving analysts, developers, administrators, and architects
  • Develop, configure, maintain, and support data and analytics solutions, with emphasis on Microsoft and Epic Cogito applications
  • Help stakeholders establish meaningful metrics, analyses, and analytics strategies
  • Receive and assess development requests from organizational leaders
  • Maintain a catalogue of data, BI, and analytics assets
  • Facilitate design sessions for metrics, dashboards, data sets, and analytical models
  • Connect business users with developers to ensure solutions address operational needs
  • Find and resolve data quality problems with end users, application teams, and leadership
  • Design, configure, and maintain self-service data sets in Epic Cogito SlicerDicer and Microsoft Power BI
  • Handle system configuration and access management for Epic Radar, Cogito SQL, user security, SlicerDicer, and reporting applications
  • Conduct testing and guide end users through validation
  • Drive end-user adoption through training sessions and communities of practice
  • Coordinate analytics-tool upgrade activities
  • Mentor Business Intelligence Analyst I team members
  • Lead initiatives that improve processes
  • Convert complex business challenges into structured analytics use cases
  • Develop analytics solutions and detailed documentation with the business intelligence development team
  • Create analytical dashboards and conduct gap analyses
  • Strengthen organizational capabilities in data management, reporting, ad hoc analytics, and advanced analytics

Requirements

  • Experience with a major business intelligence reporting platform, such as BusinessObjects, Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, Cognos, or MicroStrategy
  • Experience with Epic Cogito Clarity and Caboodle databases
  • Experience administering Epic Cogito tools
  • Background in healthcare, analytics, informatics, or a related discipline
  • Academic and professional experience in statistics, including exposure to data structures and data visualization
  • Experience creating simulation, optimization, and predictive models for business decisions
  • Clinical or healthcare background and/or experience with Epic software
  • Epic Data Model Certification required within nine months of hire
  • Must reside in Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina, Florida, South Carolina, Michigan, or Colorado
