Business Development Manager - Southwest Florida Hybrid

Drive referral partnerships and restoration-service revenue through territory sales in Southwest Florida. Manage prospecting, customer relationships, CRM activity, and the sales pipeline in a hybrid role.

Description

  • Research prospective customers and referral sources
  • Develop and implement a targeted territory sales plan
  • Create and keep sales route records up to date
  • Make sales calls and arrange meetings with referral prospects
  • Visit existing and prospective referral partners in person
  • Secure customer commitments that generate restoration-service referrals
  • Maintain regular follow-up with customers and referral partners
  • Record pipeline activity, progress, and outcomes in the CRM
  • Keep the customer contact database current
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings
  • Stay in phone and face-to-face contact with existing customers
  • Deliver presentations to prospective organizations and groups
  • Coordinate with Operations to support consistency between sold and delivered customer experiences
  • Engage with trade, community, and networking organizations and events, including activities outside standard business hours

Requirements

  • Demonstrated sales success with a history of meeting or exceeding targets is required
  • Existing local relationships in the Southwest Florida home-services industry are preferred
  • A current restoration-services book of business is a strong advantage
  • Ability to apply differentiation and value-creation principles effectively
  • Understanding of customer markets, needs, and challenges, with the ability to turn insights into sales strategies
  • Experience using AI tools and online resources to find and target customers and referral partners and plan efficient sales routes
  • Comfort with computers and enterprise software, including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
  • Must live in Southwest Florida
