Business Development Manager, Experience Studio — Sweden (Remote)

Lead business development for Amex GBT’s corporate events Experience Studio, generating new sales and cross-selling opportunities across Scandinavia. Build pipelines, win RFPs, and manage senior client relationships.

Description

  • Manage prospects throughout the sales cycle within Scandinavia’s live corporate events market
  • Prioritize high-revenue opportunities that support company profitability
  • Present the Experience Studio offering, including sourcing, event management, group travel, and creative production
  • Develop cross-selling opportunities with Strategic Meetings, Business Travel, and other Amex GBT clients
  • Generate new leads and conversions through proactive prospect calls and meetings
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Represent the company through industry networking and events
  • Partner with the creative team on sales materials and high-quality pitch responses
  • Own RFI and RFP processes as bid captain, including pricing, negotiations, proposals, presentations, and contracting

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success negotiating sales, developing new business, and closing deals in the corporate events market
  • At least two years of successful business development experience, preferably in event production
  • Professional experience in the live events industry
  • Strong negotiation and influencing abilities
  • Confidence working with C-level leaders, marketing teams, department heads, procurement, internal operations, and event managers
  • Fluency in written and spoken business Swedish and English
  • Fluency in another Scandinavian language is an advantage
  • Strong client communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to network and build lasting relationships
  • Self-directed, highly motivated, and target-oriented, with the ability to travel by air, boat, rail, or car.
