Junior Transportation and Order Logistics Coordinator

Support transportation and order logistics for ENGEL, including domestic shipping, customs documentation, rigging coordination, and trade show logistics. Maintain quotes, shipment records, cost data, and communications with customers, brokers, carriers, and internal teams.

Description

  • Provide administrative and operational assistance across transportation and order logistics activities
  • Manage requests for domestic transportation and rigging quotations
  • Keep shipping spreadsheets and logistics tracking records current
  • Record shipment details, dates, costs, and other necessary information
  • Check 7501 entry packets for completeness and accuracy
  • Investigate missing or inconsistent customs paperwork and help coordinate corrections
  • Communicate with customers, colleagues, customs brokers, carriers, and other external partners
  • Assist with transportation cost estimates for quotations and order planning
  • Coordinate rigging details between Sales, customers, transportation providers, and internal stakeholders
  • Enter rigging data and preserve accurate supporting records
  • Help organize transportation, shipping, and logistics activities for NPE and other trade shows
  • Complete additional duties and special projects assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in administration, customer service, logistics, transportation, order processing, or a related area is preferred
  • Background in quoting, shipping, rigging, customs paperwork, or transportation coordination is an advantage
  • Business-to-business experience working with internal and external customers is preferred
  • No particular license or certification is required; customs or transportation training is beneficial
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, CRM or Salesforce, SAP, and other relevant business systems
  • Accurate organization and maintenance of detailed transportation, rigging, and order data
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies in records and documentation
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing requests, meet deadlines, and follow up on outstanding tasks
  • Basic knowledge of transportation, shipping, customs documentation, and INCOTERMS, or the willingness to learn
