Description
- Identify operational and technical friction across product, engineering, data, design, operations, sales, and product marketing
- Convert cross-functional challenges into practical AI-enabled solutions
- Prototype and implement AI-assisted development tools with Claude Code
- Develop CI/CD pipelines enhanced by AI capabilities
- Assess frontier models such as Claude, Gemini, Kimi, and GPT
- Embed appropriate AI models into team workflows
- Build and improve AI-assisted testing pipelines with Claude Code and Playwright
- Create test cases, test data, unit tests, and end-to-end automation from product specifications
- Refactor and improve large codebases with AST-based tooling
- Assess and deploy AI design tools including Figma, Pencil, Stitch, Veo, and Nano Banana
- Connect AI-native intelligence platforms with go-to-market, operations, customer success, and support workflows
- Research, test, and benchmark emerging AI tools
- Develop internal chat assistants, dashboards, browser extensions, and Slack integrations
- Define practices for agentic engineering, model assessment, cost control, security, and responsible AI use
- Track AI-powered systems for reliability, accuracy, and cost efficiency
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in engineering or DevOps roles
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Java, and Python
- Practical experience with Terraform, GitHub flows or Actions, and CI/CD pipelines
- Working knowledge of AWS
- Experience developing with AI and frontier models such as Claude, Kimi, or Gemini
- Experience using agentic coding tools or AI-powered workflows
- Ability to turn cross-functional challenges into working tools
- Include links to GitHub repositories in the application
- Able to work in Swoop’s Redwood City, California office two to three days per week
