Administrative Coordinator I, Ophthalmology

Support Washington University Ophthalmology with office operations, communications, compliance, scheduling, and program logistics. This full-time hybrid role is based at the Medical Campus in St. Louis.

Description

  • Keep the administrative office running by coordinating daily operations.
  • Help develop and coordinate programs and projects.
  • Generate Workday reports and monitor compliance.
  • Respond to general questions from students and faculty.
  • Arrange logistics and provide administrative support.
  • Manage and update verbal, written, and electronic communications and websites.
  • Draft communications and review them before distribution.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and travel.
  • Travel to on-campus and off-campus locations as needed.
  • Take on other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Two years of administrative work experience.
  • Ability to perform the essential duties satisfactorily.
  • Successful completion of required pre-employment screening, including a criminal background check and any applicable additional checks.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Preferred skills include computer applications and literacy, attention to detail, interpersonal communication, Microsoft Access, Excel, Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word, office procedures, organization, and software programs.
