Accounts Payable Representative at Sonepar
Handle invoices, vendor payments, statements, and aging reports for Crawford Electric Supply. Support branches across the Southeast U.S. electrical distribution network.
Description
- Act as the regional accounts payable contact for branch teams.
- Review the A/P Invoice Preview Queue and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Pay vendors by due dates and capture available discounts.
- Process regional check requests and wire transfers.
- Request and verify statements from high-volume vendors.
- Generate and manage accounts payable aging reports in the system.
- Take on additional duties as business needs arise.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of accounts payable or related industry experience preferred.
- Familiarity with accounts payable processing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Self-motivated with careful attention to detail.
