Remote Accounts Receivable Specialist - Illinois
Handle invoicing, account reconciliations, collections, and billing support for Medcor’s healthcare operations in a remote Illinois role.
विवरण
- Prepare bi-weekly and monthly invoices, returns, and approved adjustments for assigned business lines
- Audit timecards on bi-weekly and monthly cycles to support accurate billing
- Interpret client contracts and verify that invoices meet documented billing requirements
- Build and maintain billing templates for assigned business lines
- Handle customer billing questions by phone and email, resolving issues with dependable service
- Follow up on outstanding payments by phone and email, document payment status, and issue monthly statements
- Reconcile customer accounts with the General Ledger
- Contribute to monthly and year-end financial close activities
- Partner with Finance colleagues and teams across the organization
- Support training, process enhancements, and special projects as assigned
- Coordinate with Sales, business leaders, IT, Legal, Finance, executive leadership, customers, accounts payable teams, and third-party payers

- High school diploma or GED
- Working proficiency with Microsoft applications
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Capacity to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Well-developed organizational and time-management skills
- Flexibility to adjust quickly to shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Careful, accurate work with strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently from a remote setting while remaining connected and accountable
- At least one year of Finance, Accounting, Accounts Receivable, or Billing experience is preferred
- Experience with ERP platforms, especially Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, is preferred
- Familiarity with general accounting and accounts receivable practices is preferred
- Background in a high-volume billing or accounting environment is preferred
- Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities are preferred
- Adaptable, positive, and proactive approach to work is preferred
