Senior Business Intelligence Specialist — Manila Hybrid
Turn customer experience data into actionable insights as a senior BI specialist at TELUS Digital. Build dashboards, statistical models, and automated analytics with the Manila hybrid team.
Tavsif
- Analyze business processes to find opportunities for data-driven improvement and optimization.
- Interpret large datasets and turn findings into practical business insights and recommendations.
- Design experiments and statistical tests to identify performance drivers and patterns in labeled data.
- Create dashboards, reports, and automated monitoring with Looker, Power BI, Sisense, or comparable BI tools.
- Spot potential bias in labeled data, including topic-specific and cultural or linguistic patterns.
- Work with program managers to turn analytical findings into operational and client-ready insights.
- Use Python, SQL, BigQuery, and statistical modeling for applied analytics.
- Apply predictive models, natural language processing, and bias detection methods.
- Manage structured datasets and large rater outputs, with analyses that can scale to millions of rows.
- Improve processes and automate work to reduce variation, increase efficiency, and strengthen program resilience.
- Assess and refine existing BI models to deliver high-quality solutions.
Talablar
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area such as computer science or information systems, or equivalent experience.
- Strong Python, SQL, and R skills.
- Applied experience with statistical modeling and experimental design, including sampling, confidence intervals, and agreement metrics.
- Experience analyzing medium to large datasets and scaling analysis as data volumes grow.
- Familiarity with BI and visualization platforms such as Looker, Sisense, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform or another cloud data environment is preferred.
- Ability to explain insights clearly in reports, dashboards, and presentations for both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Comfort participating in client meetings as a subject matter expert.
- Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement at the Manila office two to three days per week.
