Opis

  • Drive complex machine learning and AI programs from initial scope and planning through delivery and launch.
  • Manage initiatives involving model infrastructure, inference pipelines, AI functions, Cortex AI services, and AI-powered applications.
  • Work with ML engineers, research scientists, product managers, and engineering leaders to set roadmaps, identify dependencies, and plan execution.
  • Coordinate launches across ML infrastructure, Streamlit, Notebooks, Cortex Code, and Snowflake’s core platform.
  • Shape program plans around experimentation, evaluation gates, accuracy and latency tradeoffs, and the variable timelines of taking ML research into production.
  • Set governance and reporting routines, tracking milestones, risks, decisions, and engineering health.
  • Raise program issues with leadership early.
  • Align ML and AI engineering, product, design, infrastructure, security, and legal and compliance teams.
  • Find and address recurring execution bottlenecks.
  • Create streamlined processes and tool-supported workflows to increase engineering velocity.
  • Lead AI launch readiness, including model evaluation approval, performance benchmarks, safety reviews, and documentation.
  • Brief senior leaders on ML and AI programs with data-based updates and strategic recommendations.

Zahteve

  • At least five years of technical program management experience at a cloud or AI-focused technology company.
  • A record of owning cross-team programs from start to finish.
  • Demonstrated experience managing ML and AI programs.
  • Understanding of the machine learning lifecycle, including training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Strong technical knowledge of model architecture, inference infrastructure, evaluation metrics, and deployment tradeoffs.
  • Ability to work through ambiguity and organize delivery around experimentation cycles.
  • Experience managing programs across four or more engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong program management skills in dependency management, risk frameworks, milestone governance, stakeholder alignment, and escalation.
  • Production-scale experience with LLM inference, fine-tuning, RAG architectures, or AI function platforms is preferred.
  • Experience with model serving infrastructure, GPU or accelerator resource management, or ML platform engineering is preferred.
  • Familiarity with responsible AI practices is preferred.
  • Experience with Snowflake architecture or its data cloud ecosystem is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ML observability is preferred.
  • Experience launching customer-facing AI features is preferred.
